2009 Gibson SG Classic P90

In the shop we've got a used Gibson SG Classic P90.

This guitar is used and features some light signs of wear. Light scratches in the finish can be seen on the back of the body near the belt line and light finish dings around the outside edges of the body. A mark can be seen on the face of the body just beneath the bridge. Some light wear can be seen on the head stock including finish scratches. The most prominent mark can be seen on the outside corner of the head stock where bare wood can be seen. A slight indent in the fret board on the second fret of the low E string that doesn't effect the play-ability.

The SG Classic was introduced in 2000 (although production started in mid/late 1999), sitting at the same price point as the Special in the lineup. It was a return of features very similar to the late '60s SG Special, with the largest differences being the nut width and a tuneomatic/stopbar setup instead of the old wraparound/vibrola. It was part of the regular Gibson lineup until 2002, after which it became an exclusive model for big box retailers, until finally being discontinued in 2013.
