In the shop we have a lightly used Supro Thunderbolt S6420!

This tube amp is the perfect pedal platform with a 35watt 8ohm 15" speaker offering tons of volume, headroom and simplified controls.

This amp is in terrific condition with the exception of a couple tolex bumps, pictured, as well some light patina on the control plate. Caster were installed haphazardly (didnt predrill post hole) but are sturdy and functioning.

Here's more from Supro:

HI INPUT Instrument input, High Gain. This is the High Sensitivity input, for lower output guitars or for maximum available gain. If cables are plugged into both inputs, the higher gain mode is selected. LO INPUT Instrument input, Low Gain. This is the Low Sensitivity input, for higher output guitars or for more clean headroom. VOLUME Controls the volume level of the amplifier. TONE Controls Bass/Treble balance of the preamplifier.

The single channel preamp found in your Supro Thunderbolt is designed to provide a wide variety of sounds, from clean to mean and everything in between. Begin by putting the volume knob at 9:00 and the tone knob at 12:00. The first input, labeled ”HI”, provides the most gain and natural tube overdrive. Use this input with lower output pickups or when you want heaps of distortion. The second input, labeled ”LO”, is the authentic Supro sound. This input path provides the most headroom and vintage mojo. Supro amps are some of the most dynamically sensitive guitar amplifiers ever designed. The player is able to access the myriad of sounds within this amp by turning the amp volume up to the point of glorius overdrive and simply controlling the strength of the signal right from the volume knob on the guitar.

Normal and Extra-hot input options, combined with a wide range of available gain on tap, allow you to fine-tune the texture and response of this amp’s massive sound. Turned all the way up, the Thunderbolt exhibits nearly zero self-noise, yet it puts out enough volume to be easily heard on large venue and theatre stages, with overdrive completely controlled by the guitar’s volume knob.

Massive custom transformers and lightweight, vintage-correct cabinetry—combined with the best sounding 15” guitar speaker money can buy—put the Thunderbolt in a class of its own. With the amp turned all the way up, chords ring with exceptional clarity and definition amidst copious amounts of tube overdrive and output-stage saturation. The variable power switching found in the Thunderbolt Plus model is an over-the-top hot-rod custom luxury guitar experience, decadently brought to you by Bruce Zinky and Dave Koltai.
