R.S. Ilott Special

   Scott Ilott has been building guitars on Vancouver Island in Western Canada for over 50 years. Crafted from the finest woods, with best components all of Scott's guitars are made with passion for tone, design, and quality.

This guitar is used and includes a hardshell case. 

   The R.S. Ilott Special Humbucker is a beautifully crafted instrument featuring a book-matched, contoured Alder top plate over a weight-relieved, one-piece Alder body, finished in a striking Cardinal nitrocellulose lacquer. It is equipped with Bartolini Humbucker pickups, Kluson Locking Revolution tuners, and a concentric potentiometer for tone and volume control paired with a three-way pickup selector.

   An Emerson Paper-in-Oil .022 capacitor adds to the carefully selected electronics, while the ABM brass wraparound bridge features nickel plating and adjustable saddles for precise setup and intonation. The Rosewood fingerboard is accented with mother-of-pearl markers, complemented by a translucent custom tortoise pickguard. Shielded cavities throughout help provide a clean, quiet signal, making this Ilott Special a distinctive combination of refined craftsmanship, premium components, and classic aesthetic appeal.
