Rihani Custom Instruments Rihani Custom Electric Bass #016

In the shop we have a Custom J-style Bass from Rihani Custom! 

The Rihani Custom #016 features as 3-piece maple neck with hard, quarter-sawn baked maple outer laminations and a figured quarter-sawn baked maple center. This is topped by an Indian Rosewood Fretboard with a 16” radius and modern “Jumbo” 0150 nickel frets. There are no face fret markers, rather white composite side dots on a “Chunky Monkey” neck carve. The bass has a black TUSQ nut and a Hipshot string retainer USA Y-paddle Tuners.

The body is made from Swamp Ash and has a bright red gloss finish custom made by Warmoth. The bass is equipped with EMG Passive JHZ Pickups and circuitry, “using stacked coils with ceramic and steel bar magnets for a traditional jazz bass sound with increased output, and low noise,” according to EMG. Solid Ebony Knobs Turned by David King (Portland, OR) top the traditional 2-volume 1-tone layout.  Hipshot rounds out the hardware with a B-style bridge for precise intonation, while a sleek WD Music jet-black pearl pickguard protects your finish. Dunlop Strap Locks included.

This bass weighs 9.5lbs and does not include a case.
