Body and Sound
Crafted from mahogany, the M2's body features a laminated mahogany top, producing a warm, full-bodied tone with excellent sustain. The satin polyester finish enhances the guitar's natural beauty, while ivoroid body binding adds a touch of elegance.
Neck and Playability
The comfortable mahogany neck features a set neck joint and a 16" radius rosewood fingerboard, making it ideal for slide and fingerstyle players. The 1.82" bone nut and 25" scale length provide a smooth playing experience.
Resonator Hardware
The National Reso-Phonic M2 boasts a biscuit bridge and National 6-string tailpiece, combining to produce a robust, resonant sound. The closed-gear tuning machines ensure precise tuning.
Appointments and Aesthetics
Mother of pearl diamond inlays adorn the fingerboard, complemented by ivoroid neck binding and a pearloid headstock veneer. The nickel hardware adds a touch of sophistication.
Condition
This pre-owned National Reso-Phonic M2 Mahogany Natural shows signs of use, featuring wear and tear. Marks are visible on the top, while most of the wear is concentrated on the back side. Additional wear is evident on the back of the headstock and where the body meets the neck (see photos for details).
