Modified 2002 Gibson ES-135

In the shop we have a heavily modified 2002 Gibson ES-135!

This ES-135 has been toured and modified for Slide Guitar/Blues artist Rev Peyton from Reverend Peytons Big Damn Band! Over the years Rev has had some repairs and modifications done. 

There is a large crack that had been filled about the bass side F-hole. Aside from that there is reside on the back f the headstock as well as belt buckle marks on the back of the guitar. There is some scratches and dings on the lower and upper sides as well. Rev was primrily a slidde player, so there isnt a ton of fret wear but there are flat spots on frets 1-7. 

As pictured there is a coer plate between the two humbuckers. Rev had experimented with a lipstick pickup in this position. It's corresponding volume (where 2nd tone control would be) is non operative. The bridges pickup tone has been moved to the pickguard with an orange tone cap so you can roll the tone without having to move from playing position. The Neck volume and tone are in the correct position and there is a plugged hole for another control combination. 

This guitars finish has plenty of "patina" as its been stage played! 

Guitar weighs 7.55lbs and includes a gig bag.
