Product description
This 1950s Fender Deluxe 6 Lap Steel is in good vintage condition and remains fully playable, with finish wear, surface marks, and hardware scratches consistent with its age. Featuring a solid ash body in a gloss blonde finish, the instrument has a 22.5" scale length and a distinctive metal fingerboard with 29 painted fret positions and classic position markers. Its signature trapezoid-shaped single-coil pickup delivers the articulate, hi-fi, bell-like tone that has made these models highly sought after.
Additional features include the original inset strip tuner assembly, asymmetrical control plate, master volume and tone controls, and the iconic Fender design that helped define the sound of mid-century lap steel guitars. A great example of a classic vintage Fender with plenty of character and authentic wear.
Includes the original case which has seen better days but is still functioning.
