In store we've got a vintage 1970's Sound City PA120 Plus Valve Amplifier Head. This British vintage amplifier is a 6 PA format head that’s perfect for oversaturated clean tones and good for any instrument.
The Sound City 120 PA, is a tube amp, that was originally intended for use as a PA Amp, with a very simple layout of 6 identical channels, which all feature a treble and bass control aswell as a channel volume. Luckily though, this amp also has a master volume, because it is sporting 6(!) EL34s in the power section, producing a very healthy 120 Watts of clean power! The perfect amp for producing oversaturated clean tones as well as great pedal platform.
This amplifier shows normal signs of wear and tear seen on most vintage amplifiers. Slight marks on all sides as pictured but everything functions properly.
Controls for each of the four channels: gain, three way mid boost switch, bass, middle, treble and volume + a footswitchable gain boost.
Controls for the power amp: dual footswitchable master volumes, presence and punch both with a three way range switch to match the amp to different cabinets.
Watts: 120 watts
Impedance: 4, 8, 16 ohms
Voltage Selector: 105v, 115v, 225v, 245v Selector
6 JJ EL34 Power Tubes
