Product description
In the shop we have a 1965 Gibson LG-1!
Originally a student model, this 60 year old guitar has come to be known as a "Closet Classic," finding its way into the hands of new vintage collectors and Gibson enthusiasts.
This guitar features ladder bracing, Mahogany Back & Sides and a Spruce Top. The Bridge and Fingerboard are Rosewood. The frets appear to be original but could have been leveled at some point as they are very clean. Original Nut. The Sun-burst top has plenty of character in the form of checking. Tastefully reminding the audience that this guitar has been around the block! The saddle is low but with just enough break angle. The guitar could benefit from a neck reset but is very playable as is.
This guitar weighs 4lbs and includes a hardshell case.
