1960s Silvertone "Venetian" Mandolin L3800 w/case

In the shop we have a 60's Silvertone Venetian L3800 Mandolin with chipboard case.

This mandolin has some normal play wear, as well as some ding a gouges from its previous lives. At some point a rubber strap attachment or stand left some residue on its side. The original buttons of the Deluxe Kluson tuners had all cracked away, and have been replaced with aged buttons. In the pictures you can see where the finish has sunken. This isn't of structural concern at this time; A well humidified instrument is a happy instrument. The tailpiece has some sympathetic vibrations if not muted with the arm or a piece of material. Action is at 2/32nds treble side & 2/32nds bass side at the 12th fret with the first fret fingered. 

This Mandolin is 2.1lbs and inlcudes the chipboard case.
