Volume, tone and 3 way position switch decked out in gold. A Mahogany fatback neck with 22 frets that is friendly to the players that enjoy a larger neck, familiar to the telecasters of the 50's. Corian nut, vintage style machine heads and single string tree. This Guitar comes with a brightly colored paisley style hard shell case.

The story behind Don Mare's Real Nancy Tele Pickup set is amazing. Don is known as an exceptional pickup builder and he also is a huge Roy Buchanan fan. But he never could quite duplicate the biting trebly tone with zero bass of Roy's bridge pickup in his 53 Tele, nicknamed Nancy. Eventually, Don got to actually play and examine Roy's unique sounding guitar and discovered that the bridge pickup was defective! You would never be able to get that tone out of a normal working pickup!

So Don duplicated the "defective" pickup exactly, and matched it with his superb 53 Tele neck pickup to create the Real Nancy Clone set. This set may not be for everyone, but if you love Roy Buchanan and are looking for his signature singing treble tone, you'll never get closer than this set. Plus the neck pickup is one of the sweetest, musical sounding Tele neck pickups we've ever heard. 

Schroeder TL Straight-Back Bridge:
The Schroeder TL Straight-Back Bridge is the more traditional version of our popular original Schroeder TL Bridge.  Both are an excellent replacement for tele style bridges, or for use on custom instruments. The aluminum and brass construction provides warm, clear and bell like tone transfer from strings to the body of your guitar.  The TL bridge is intended for use with string-through-body construction and either string ferrules or a ball end plate on the back of the guitar body.
