   The spiritual cousin of the taf-30XR, the 35XR offers a solid 35 Watts of pure 6L6 tonetastic goodness. The more “American” sound of the 6L6 tube set calls to mind the classic Fenders of the 1950’s and 1960’s. But while the taf-35XR may share some DNA, it has a sound all it’s own and enough knobs to twiddle to give you tone options for days.

   The preamp design that was updated in the taf-30R carries over here. The dual 12AX7 design allows for separate gain and volume controls so the distortion coming out of the speakers can be dialed in just right. Plus, just for fun, the fat channel switch around the back (and its standard footswitch jack) provides an additional stage of overdrive so you can really kick your tones around. Additionally, the three channel equalizer can create tones from massive thunderous bass, to crisp clear treble and everything in between.

   As with all of the current Tube Amp Factory amps, the taf-35XR integrates our special low-hum DC power supply circuit, as well as the carefully selected solid state reverb module that can provide a little much-needed presence in an acoustically dead room.

   The taf-30R and taf-35R offer the most flexible and varied tones of our amplifier line. They make a great companion for lazy days of hooking up effects, tweaking knobs, and exploring the massive palette of tones that these amps can be motivated to create.

On top of that, the taf-35R will also, like the 30R, offer a high quality, hand built, hand soldered, all point to point wired, boutique quality amplifier at a price point that may shock you with it not-insane-ness.
