Rick Crownover Sex Wax Fuzzrite

In the shop we have a hand built "Sex Wax" Fuzzrite style fuzz by Rick Crownover. Rick Crownover is a DIY pedal and amp builder, as well as a retired master painter for Weber Speakers based in North-Central Indiana.

If you're looking for a classic Fuzzrite style fuzz, this hand built full pedal will leave you satisfied! This fuzz is based off the classic 60's Mosrite Fuzzrite, which has been used by everyone from The Ventures, The Stooges, Iron Butterfly, Jimi Hendrix, and even pedal steel players like Leo LeBlanc. Just like the original, this fuzz has both Volume and Depth knobs , so you can choose the amount of fuzz you want while maintaining the volume you need, but utilizes the 2N3904 and BC108 transistors (the original Fuzzrite design has many different versions with many different transistor combinations), giving you that classic tone but with modern improvements for stability when things really heat up.

This pedal is new and is one of a kind. Does not include box, cables, or other accessories.
