Product description
This thinline style tele features a black walnut top, ash body, maple neck and ebony fingerboard.
A Gibson Burstbucker and ’57 classic humbuckers blend beautifully with the guitars natural resonance. Other small details include vintage bakelite control knobs, satin nitrocellulose finish on the body and linseed oil finish for a smooth feeling neck. Some other unique feature of this build are the string through body design with tunomatic style bridge and 12” fingerboard radius.
This guitar gets its name from the walnut top that came from a tree felled in Bloomington Indiana on High St. near the makers house when he was in college. The walnut was saved and air dried for more than a decade until finally being used for this guitar.
