Product description

"GKP-T is the Gatekeeper tele style set designed for one of the more versatile guitars out there. With Alnico 5 magnets and a chrome neck cover, the GKP-T ranges from warmth and round sounding neck to full over wound bridge tone that can handle both rock and twang. Our goal with this set was to combine the favorite things we love about the T style guitars tone into one all around set.

Approximate DCR readings: Neck 6.9K Bridge 6.6K"

"It started as a collaboration with Sublime Guitars all the way back in 2014. Our vision was a line of pickups designed by us and custom wound by a small crew at a working mans price point. We’re pleased to announce Gatekeeper Pickups, starting at $99 ea. for a set.

With so many guitars being made each year, the electronics often are an afterthought. We wanted to bring a product to the market to make your guitar be all it can be tonally while costing less of your hard earned money."

-Brian Porter, Porter Pickups

"Why we created it.Gatekeeper Pickups allows us to serve all musicians at all budgets. We wanted to create inspiring pickups that not only save guitarists money, but sound great. Gatekeeper pickups have been on countless stages since 2014."

"Where are they made? Gatekeeper pickups are made in Indonesia under our strict specs and material requests. We work with the winders to ensure our designs are implemented. This process allows us to keep quality and tone at the forefront."
