Product description
In the shop we have a lightly used Dean Markley Overlord Tube Overdrive!
OverLord is a tube overdrive pedal that can be used with any amplifier, tube or solid state, to add overdrive and distortion. It uses a carefully selected 12AX7A tube to produce its sound. The pedal has 3-band EQ, volume and drive controls to shape its tone.
This pedal is in great shape with little scuffing. Someone has marked their presets with nail polish. Does not include box.

WHERE TO USE OVERLORD
CARE FOR OVERLORD
OverLord adds a TUBE channel to any amplifier. From small practice amps, through giant stacks, they all sound fantastic with OverLord Classic Tube Overdrive. Use OverLord with any amplifier, be it tube or solid State. OverLord will make your amp "sing" like you've never heard.
Even though OverLord is a ruggedly built steel chassis, care should still be taken. As you know, tubes are made of glass. Avoid excessive physical abuse. Use a soft touch on the footswitch. That is all that is needed to switch the unit from clean to Overdrive. OverLord has been designed for prolonged periods of use; without overheating or damageing the tube. OverLords power switch allows you to turn the unit off when you are done using it. This will prolong the tubes life even more.
THE "HEART" OF OVERLORD OverLord's 12AX7A tube has been carefully tested by human ears for correct tonality and absence of microphonics. OverLord's tube is good for anywhere from 2 to 4 years. There is no reason to change the tube any sooner. The only reason you may want to change the tube is if you are looking for a very special "spoungy" type sound or a special "cutting" "hard" sound. Because each tube has a sound of its own, you may want to try a couple OverLords and pick yours out from the rest. Both hard and soft versions are available. Some players prefer OverLords tone even more as the tube gets older. Like you… It gets better with age.

SETTING UP OVERLORD
Output Impedance: 10 KOHMS (Typical)
OverLord's 3 band E.Q. has been carefully tuned for today's playing styles. OverLord does it all. In order to get the best from your new OverLord: Start by pluging OverLord into a 3 prong wall socket. If you don't have all your bands equipment plugged into 3 prong sockets, you may want to use an adapter which turns OverLord's 3 prong plug into 2 prongs. This will allow you to “turn the plug around" in case of any unwanted hum from someone elses equipment not being grounded properly. Plug your guitar cord into the IN jack. Come out of the OUT jack with another cord and put the other end of the cord int the input of your amplifier, where you would normaly input your guitar. Turn OverLord's power switch on. Start by setting the 3 E.Q. controls on approximately "5". Set the Drive and Volume controls on 2 or 3. OverLords Footswitch needs only a momentary touch to select between bypass or Overdrive sound. From there, use your ears to set the sound you want; the higher the drive is turned up, the more overdrive you will have. The higher the volume… well… you know. Try all the various sounds available with OverLord. Let your imagination and creativity run wild.
