This amp head features the usual signs of wear and tear seen on a vintage amplifier as pictured. Here are the specs listed on the original Ampeg service manual:

 

  • Power Output:

120 watts RMS minimum continuous at less than 0.3% total harmonic distortion (T.H.D.) into an 8 ohms load over the 20 to 20,000 Hertz band; 70 watts into 16ohms.

 

  • Front Panel:

Four inputs

Two channels, each with volume control, bass, midrange, and treble controls, and ultra-hi switch.

  • Tone Control Range:

Input sensitivity for high gain jacks is .011 volts for full power.

 

  • Patching Facilities:

Power amplifier input jack is high impedance and .28 volts produces full power.

 

  • Power Module:

Complete circuit self-protection is provided by automatic variable power programmed limiting. Shorted, mismatched, or open loads have no adverse effects. Amplifier is safe with any input signal or load. Overload recovery is instantaneous on any waveform.

 

  • Power Supply Requirements:

Power consumption at rated output is 264 watts maximum.
